Welcome to Institute of Deep Time Terrestrial Ecology

深时陆地生态研究所成立于2016年12月，是中国西南地区唯一专业从事古植物、古脊椎动物和古陆地生态系统重建的研究机构。

深时陆地生态研究所在开展古生物与地层学研究以及科学普及的同时，亦是一个合作研究的开放平台。深时所拥有先进的化石、岩石研究和分析仪器，大量的化石标本，以及我们长期积累的文献资料。欢迎任何形式的国内外同行合作研究和研究生培养。

我们非常注重研究生培养和博士后训练，深时所招收古生物学专业的硕士研究生和进化生物学专业的博士研究生。欢迎国内外博士后申请人。

深时所的目前主要研究方向包括多门类化石生物的系统分类学、陆生动物的起源与演化、二叠纪末绝灭事件前后陆生生物多样性变化、重要植物门类起源与演化、植物与昆虫相互作用及协同演化、地质历史时期陆地生生态系统重建等。

The Institute of Deep Time Terrestrial Ecology was founded since December 2016. The institute is the only research institution focusing on palaeobotany and vertebrate palaeontology, and the reconstruction of palaeoecosystems in Southwest China.

In addition to palaeontology and stratigraphy, and science popularisation, the institute is also a platform for cooperation. The institute is facilitated with advanced preparation, optical, electronic, analyzing equipment, laboratories, large fossil collections, and literature. We welcome all kinds of collaborations on scientific research and student and post-doctoral trainings.

The institute is currently emphasising on the systematics of various fossil organisms, origin and evolution of land plants and animals, biodiversity change before and after the end-Permian mass extinction, plant–insect interaction and coevolution, reconstruction of terrestrial ecosystems through deep times.
